Woman Accused of Stealing About $350,000 from Laguna Beach Couple

A 49-year-old Mission Viejo woman pleaded not guilty Monday to charges of stealing more than $350,000 from a couple in Laguna Beach. Debbie Ysah Rice was charged July 28 with one count of theft from an elder adult and six counts of grand theft by embezzlement, all felonies, with sentencing enhancements for aggravated white collar crime between $100,000 and $500,000.
