Fire crews were called to Wolverhampton Wanderers' Molineux Stadium by security shortly before 2am on Sunday. The club is still assessing the damage in a hospitality area of the Billy Wright stand, but says it is "significant".

The blaze broke out in the early hours in a bar area and spread to parts of a stand.

Around 20 firefighters were sent to the Wolves ground when the blaze started in the Sir Jack Hayward suite in the Billy Wright stand just before 2am on Sunday. It is believed to have been started accidentally by an electrical appliance.
