Chamber of Commerce President Harald Mahrer wants to continue the debate about a higher retirement age. He started again and got a lot of criticism from the president of the industrial association, Georg Knill, a few weeks ago. He asked for an increase in the retirement age to 70. Mahrer said on Saturday at oe24: "This is certainly an opportunity to tackle the problem in the long term". He received criticism from FPÖ and SPÖ.
