The first meters of skating on natural ice this autumn have been achieved. In Winterswijk, the ice rink opened at 7:30 a.m. on Friday morning. "We didn't know if it would work out," says ice master Hendrik van Prooije while skating on Friday morning. "It's always a competition to be the first. I believe we were the first skaters in the Netherlands."
