Northern Poland is struggling with the consequences of a snowstorm that brought chaos to transport and energy last night. The effects of heavy snowfall are felt primarily in the coastal strip from Kołobrzeg to Wejherowo. According to information from RMF FM, 23,000 residents are expected to be without power.

5 thousand customers from the Pomeranian, West Pomeranian and Warmian-Masurian provinces were without electricity around noon on Friday. As reported by a representative of Energa Operator, the failure was caused by wet snowfall.

Northern Poland was hit by heavy snowfall overnight, leaving 23,000 customers without power, reports RMF FM. In the area from Kołobrzeg to Wejherowo, electrical installation teams are working intensively.
