In today's Wings for Life World Run there was a record number of participants: A total of over 310,000 people took part in the race. More than 74,000 runners from Austria participated in the race worldwide.
The Wings for Life Worldrun invited participants to collect donations on Sunday, and 310.719 participants followed the call. Much more than 5000 took part in 21 Tyrolean locations in the service of the good cause.
Andreas Vojta travelled 68.54 kilometers on the route in Vienna and NÖ. Only one Japanese came further.
The Wings for Life World Run set a new record on Sunday in its twelfth edition with 310,719 runners.
