Screenwriter and dramaturge Miroslav Vaic, who worked on films such as Wind in the Pocket, Love from the Passage, Friend in the Rain, Once Upon a Time in a Cop, and Vampire Wedding, died on Saturday, May 24, at the age of 78. He is also credited with the television series Police Modrava and Crime Scene Investigation Andel. The screenwriter's death was announced by director Jaroslav Soukup, who had collaborated with Vaic for decades.
