Wind advisory for 3 Massachusetts counties for Thursday and Friday – gusts up to 50 mph

On Wednesday at 1:46 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory valid from Thursday 5 p.m. until Friday 2 p.m. for Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket counties.“Northeast winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected,” comments the weather service. “Highest winds expected near Nantucket and the outer portions of Cape Cod.”
