Wilmington police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, June 6, on North Front Street.

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — Officers with the Wilmington Police Department responded to 141 N. Front street in reference to a reported shooting Saturday around 1:36am. Upon arrival, officers located a 23-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
