The acting officer in charge of the Williams Lake RCMP Detachment isn’t concerned about a slight increase in files this year. At the Tuesday, May 26, regular council meeting, Staff Sgt. Brad McKinnon said that, to date, 4,360 police files have been dispatched to the Williams Lake detachment, with 1,407 files associated with complaints and calls for service in the downtown core.
