I agree with one thing, Minister Bodnar: no one is above the law, including Minister Bodnar – said Zbigniew Ziobro, vice-president of PiS.
Adam Bodnar submitted a motion to the Speaker of the Sejm to detain and bring Zbigniew Ziobro before the Pegasus Committee. The former Minister of Justice stated at a press conference that the committee had "ceased to exist" in light of the Constitutional Tribunal's ruling.
I have forwarded to the Speaker of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia, the request of the Chairwoman of the Sejm Committee for Pegasus, requesting that the Sejm consent to the detention and forced bringing of Zbigniew Ziobro to a meeting of this committee, Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar announced on Friday.
"Zbigniew Ziobro is not above the law. He is obligated to appear and testify when summoned by the Parliamentary Investigative Committee."
