The Government of Mexico City has decreed a dry law for this Wednesday, June 24, on the occasion of the third party of the group phase of the co-host selection to the Czech Republic. The measure, published on Tuesday, June 23 in the Official Gazette of the city, restricts the sale of alcoholic beverages in various areas of the capital with the aim of preserving public order and strengthening security.
The Dry Law will be applied in the CDMX after the lack of control in the celebrations last Thursday, June 18 for Mexico's victory over South Korea in the 2026 World Cup Group A.
