Four-time Tour de France champion Tadej Pogačar has decided against taking part in the Spanish Vuelta next month as he recovers after winning cycling’s biggest race.
The four-time Grand Loop winner will not participate in the next Tour of Spain with his UAE team.
The Tour d ́Espagne, which starts on 23 August, will leave without the Slovenian champion. Its formation, UAE, announces this Tuesday the eight riders selected, a list of which Pogacar is not part.
Tadej Pogacar is not participating in the Vuelta. His body is tired after the Tour de France, he says.
The 26-year-old Slovenian, who has been in the spotlight for years, sends out signals of great fatigue.
