The Sejm (lower house of parliament) voted to waive Antoni Macierewicz's immunity. The prosecutor plans to charge the PiS MP with, among other things, disclosing classified information. The case concerns the period when the former Minister of National Defense led the work of the Smolensk subcommittee.

On Monday, the parliamentary rules committee approved a motion to waive the immunity of PiS MP Antoni Macierewicz. Prosecutors accuse him of disclosing top-secret information as head of the so-called Smolensk subcommittee. Prosecutors from the investigative team investigating irregularities in the subcommittee's work attended the meeting.

The Sejm Rules Committee has issued a decision regarding Antoni Macierewicz's immunity. The decision was made in closed session.
