West Bengal Health Minister Sharadwat Mukherjee has urged schools to let students wear clothing that fully covers their arms and legs during the dengue season. The proposed three-month change is aimed at cutting mosquito exposure as the state steps up prevention and awareness efforts.
Bengal Health Minister Sharadavat Mukherjee said, "Please don't send girls to school wearing skirts. Let them wear salwars that cover their legs. Don't wear knee-high socks. Knee-high socks will stick to your legs. The socks are too thin. Let girls wear salwars."
