WHO Warns World Is Not Keeping up with Risk of 'Worse' Pandemic
The report says 2024 health emergency events nearly doubled from 2015 as climate change, conflict and distrust outpace reforms.
On Monday, the Global Preparedness Monitoring Board launched its 2026 report, 'A World on the Edge,' at the 79th World Health Assembly in Geneva, warning that global pandemic risk is outpacing preparedness efforts.
