Marking 20 years since Season 5 originally aired, the episode featured original judges Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson returning as mentors for the Top 5 contestants during the 'Class of 2006 Reunion.'
Season 5 winner Taylor Hicks paired with Richardson for a duet, while Dancing With the Stars professionals added choreography to the vocal performances throughout the night.
Following her advancement to the Top 3, Richardson will return home to Pensacola for a community homecoming parade and concert on Wednesday, celebrating her achievement with fans.
The three-hour season finale airs May 11, featuring special guest performances from Brad Paisley, Mötley Crüe, and other artists as Harper, Richardson, and McCullough compete for the title.
