Ray-traced image assists are getting more interesting as AMD and Nvidia push new reconstruction tech, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has become the first real battleground for both approaches. Nvidia’s DLSS Ray Reconstruction has been around for a while. AMD is entering the arena with FSR Redstone’s first feature, Ray Regeneration, which runs exclusively on RDNA 4 hardware.
