Restaurant chain Lunch Garden would file for bankruptcy on Monday. Antwerp's business doctor CIM Capital wants to take over some of the 61 restaurants. “And that can certainly be a great success. With a few adjustments, Lunch Garden still has a bright future,” says retail specialist Jorg Snoeck.

‘Tasty, easy and cheaper than at home’. The three reasons for Lunch Garden’s existence are under pressure or even no longer apply. “A Lunch Garden is not a Parisian bistro, but they could actually play a similar role.”
