CLEVELAND, Ohio — Ohio voters can still cast ballots by mail in the general election this fall, despite continued uncertainty surrounding President Donald Trump’s new mail-ballot rules issued through a March executive order, Cuyahoga County Board of Elections Director Anthony Perlatti said Friday.
Trump's decree would require lists of qualified voters to be drawn up and would require the postal service to deliver ballots only to those voters.

A federal judge indefinitely extended her order to prevent the Trump administration from implementing new restrictions on mail-in ballots. The Trump plan would require states to use scannable ballot envelopes and to provide the federal government with lists of voters eligible to receive mail ballots.
