The Film Foundation announced the winners of the screenwriting competition at the 59th Karlovy Vary Festival, distributing eight hundred thousand crowns among the authors of five projects. Long-time jury member Ivo Mathé praised the breadth of genres, but admitted that he had only experienced a complete revelation once.
"This year, the Film Foundation celebrates its 20th anniversary and we have decided to move forward with the options for helping authors.
