The president of the region had wished at the beginning of 2026 the adoption of a gentleman to "strengthen a common territorial identity".
We must now officially call the inhabitants of the region Centre-Val de Loire the Centrevallois and Centrevalloises, in accordance with the result of a vote unveiled this Thursday.
