Weyburn group fights massive wind farm with GoFundMe campaign

Group that opposes Seven Stars Energy Project in the Rural Municipality (RM) of Weyburn, has launched a gofundme campaign.

The municipal council allows more or less untouched nature on Omre to be set aside for wind power. Forests, fields and heaths close to the coast can be blown away and built on. The turbines can be around a couple of hundred meters high, while the construction work will cause deep wounds. The area will never be the same again if the wind power developers get their way.
