Westlake Eyes Buying German PVC Plant

Chemical maker Westlake Corp. and its subsidiary Westlake Vinnolit GmbH & Co. KG have entered a non-binding letter of intent to potentially acquire an insolvent polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) production site in Wilhelmshaven, Germany.
