Western governors establish multi-state task force to update the region’s transmission lines
The task force will study transmission needs and propose a roadmap to reduce bottlenecks, improve reliability and expand lower-cost power access.
- On Tuesday, 11 Western governors signed a bipartisan agreement in Park City, Utah, establishing the Transmission Permitting Alignment and Coordination Task Force to modernize the regional electric grid and accelerate transmission line construction.
