West Virginia city hosts awareness walk for childhood cancer

September was Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Leukemia Cancer Awareness Month - so local leaders spent the day in Weirton on Sunday, Oct. 5 for the Panhandle Trail Benefit Walk. The event was free to attend - but organizers collected donations and sold bracelets to support WVU Medicine Weirton Medical Center.
