West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. (TSXV:WRLG) - Softer Q3 Resets 2026 Guidance, PFS Now in Focus - Research Portal
West Red Lake (WRLG) reported Q3/26 production results from its 100% owned Madsen mine in Red Lake, ON. Madsen produced 7,859oz Au (-8% QoQ) at an average mined grade of 3.8 g/t Au. WRLG also lowered its FY26 guidance to 27,000-32,000oz Au (was 35,000-45,000oz), a 26% reduction at the midpoint. We view the update as slightly negative, as Madsen remains reliant on lower-grade remnant areas while development advances toward unmined ground. That said, Sep/26 was the strongest month since the restart at 3,320oz Au, and management noted positive progress entering Q4/26. The integrated Madsen and Rowan PFS, which WRLG expects to release in the coming weeks, is now the key catalyst, as it should outline the shift from remnant ounces to higher-grade, non-remnant feed.
