West Bengal's Chief Minister inaugurated a major drinking water project today. This Japan International Cooperation Agency-assisted initiative will serve over 84,500 rural households. The project aims to provide safe and reliable piped water across five development blocks. It draws water from the Mukutmanipur Reservoir on the Kumari River. This significant milestone strengthens India-Japan development cooperation in the state.
