Weir man arrested for attempted murder charge
In response to an armed domestic disturbance call May 8, Cherokee County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a location in rural Weir. Upon arrival, deputies located Boyce Earl Nevills, Jr., 56, along with a female at the residence.
