'We were taking coal out', say the injured workers in the Cerredo mine

"We were extracting coal and preparing the mine to explode." That's what David Álvarez said on Wednesday, one of the workers injured in the explosion of the Cerredo mine at the gate of the Guardia Civil de Villablino barracks, after giving a statement to the investigators. Actually, the four injured from the mine have confirmed that they were taking coal out of the mine when the explosion took the lives of five of their comrades.
