“We know that the whole creation has been groaning…” – Romans 8:22a - Granite Falls News

When I think of creation groaning, I can’t help but remember the sounds from watching the glaciers “calving” in Alaska. We were on an iceberg tour and got very close to a large glacier where we got to witness the calving. Calving is when a glacier or iceberg breaks apart and a huge chunk falls off and it gives a deep, thunderous cracking sound, groaning sound. It was truly amazing. And rightly so, it’s called calving.
