Water wells should be tested regularly amid soaring temperatures and inconsistent rain - Ground Water Canada

Southern Ontario – As summer temperatures continue to soar and rainfall remains inconsistent, private well owners are being encouraged to have their wells tested to ensure their drinking water is safe for consumption. The Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Health Unit recommends thrice yearly testing as harmful bacteria such as E. coli may be present, even if there is no apparent difference in water’s taste or smell.
