Water metering receives soft refusals from some Princeton residents

Town officials said 269 residents have not booked appointments as Princeton moves to a metered water system funded by $1.95 million in grants.

Crews are continuing to install water meters in Princeton, but some residents have given what the town calls soft refusals to the installations. In a report to Princeton council on June 10, Jared Thomas, manager of civic works, said there are 1,357 new water meters to be installed or replaced.
