- Social media posts alleged Netanyahu staged the event to cancel elections or distract from criminal charges, drawing comparisons to October 7. Researchers noted this pattern mirrors influence operations portraying Israel and Jews as the "hidden hand."
- CyberWell CEO Tal-Or Cohen Montemayor said these claims "reflect a broader pattern of conspiratorial self-victimization" that "falsely accuses Jews or Israelis of orchestrating attacks against themselves to manipulate public opinion."
- According to ARC Research Associate Oliver Marks, the rapid spread reveals a pre-existing script: "Rather, its part of a script that already exists, sitting ready for use whenever opportunities arise.
