Warehouse Security Guards in Oakland Now Use Real-Time Apps to Keep Property Managers Informed
The platform shows live guard locations, patrol completions and incident reports as they happen, giving managers a clearer view of warehouse security.
Vigilant Eye Security launched a real-time mobile monitoring platform for warehouse clients across Oakland and the East Bay, providing live guard tracking, GPS-stamped patrol logs, instant incident reports, and automated shift summaries.
Oakland warehouse operators have lived with an information void for decades, relying on paper logs that offered no proof of actual patrols. "Property managers told us for years they didn't really know what was happening at their sites after business hours," a Vigilant Eye Security spokesperson said.
The platform runs through one single mobile app that property managers download on contract day one. Two weeks into a contract, one client watched a guard spot an attempted break-in at the back fence and call police before any theft occurred.
Every operation runs through direct W-2 employment rather than subcontracted labor, maintaining consistent training and accountability. Maintenance flags caught during patrols are sent instantly to managers, saving warehouse clients money on issues that would have otherwise caused overnight damage.
Automated shift summaries are pushed at the end of every rotation, providing daily and monthly views for long-term tracking. This approach replaces the unreliable model that plagued a Coliseum industrial corridor client for 8 years.
