After recovering from early weakness to end the previous session roughly flat, stocks are likely to move to the upside in early trading on Friday. The major index futures are currently pointing to a higher open for the markets, with the S&P 500 futures up by 0.3 percent.
US stock markets looked to start the last trading day of the week higher, supported by a crude oil price that had at least temporarily turned downward. The US ten-year yield fell back slightly but was still quoted at high levels.
