Local boxers to be added to Youngstown Walk of Fame
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — On the 4th of July, the city of Youngstown will honor five of its world champion boxers. Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini, Kelly Pavlik, Harry Arroyo, Jeff Lampkin, and Greg Richardson will be added to the Youngstown Walk of Fame at Wean Park. The five are gathering for an unveiling ceremony on July 4th. It will be at 5 p.m. on the Wean Park Sidewalk under the Market Street Bridge.
Walk of Fame to honor Youngstown’s boxing champs
YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown’s five world boxing champions will be honored July 4 with the unveiling of plaques to recognize their induction onto the city’s Walk of Fame. Also, the 2026 honoree will be announced at the ceremony by Mayor Jamael Tito Brown. The Walk of Fame is located downtown on the Wean Park’s sidewalk under the Market Street Bridge.
