Wakker Dier has won its battle against NS Stations. The railway company refused to display a campaign against meat consumption at stations because the message could lead to public debate. The judge has now overturned that decision. NS must withdraw the refusal within 24 hours and hang up the posters after all, reports AD. If the company fails to do so, a penalty of 25,000 euros per day will follow.

Wakker Dier posters must be visible on advertising boards at stations. NS Stations refused this, whereupon the animal rights organization took the matter to court. On Wednesday, the court ruled in favor of Wakker Dier in summary proceedings.
