Minister of Environment and Green Transition Marija Vučković announced that the waste in Gospić will be covered in the first half of this week, after amendments to the Law on Waste Management were presented at the Government session on Monday.
The Deputy Director of the Fund, Mirko Budiša, announced that the representatives of Holcim and Nexe asked to get an insight into the configuration of the location, the location of the so-called "big bags".
Minister Marija Vučković announced that the waste in Gospić will be covered in the first half of this week, and the contract with the contractors has already been signed without complaints. The process of removing hazardous waste from the site is expected to accelerate.
On Monday, representatives of the cement plants Holcim Croatia and Nexe, along with representatives of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, visited the location of the former PPK Velebit, where there are around 650 tons of non-hazardous waste in so-called "big bags", which the cement plants will thermally process.
