Twenty-two Belarusian nationals working in a technology company in Lithuania were recognized as a threat to national security and expelled from the country, and reported on Monday to the Lithuanian Department of State Security (VSD). "VSD sent an opinion to the Migration Department concerning the activities of 22 Belarusian citizens in Lithuania, persons working in a technology company recognized as a threat to Lithuania's national security.
Twenty-two Belarusians had been expelled from Lithuania, who had been declared "a threat to security" by the Lithuanian Department of State Security.
The State Security Department has submitted findings to the Migration Department on the activities of 22 Belarusian citizens in Lithuania — persons who worked for the technology company were declared a threat to Lithuania's national security, the State Security Department announced.
Lithuania cancelled 22 Belarusian citizens, expelled them from the country and banned them from entering the Schengen zone for five years, working for a company that had participated in the EU Space Programme Agency (EUSPA) project and fraudulently received about half a million euros, reports the Lithuanian State Security Department.
The 22 Belruses who worked for a technology company in Lithuania were declared a threat and expelled from the country, as described by the LRT portal with reference to the local Department of Public Security (DHS).
