On Thursday 26 March at the Nancy Correctional Court it was time for pleadings and requisitions. The prosecution that is prosecuting Nestlé Waters in this case of abandonment of four wild dumps required €750,000 in fines and an obligation to restore the sites. The pollution qualifier was not retained.
While the charges for pollution were dropped after the annulment of independent analyses at the beginning of the proceedings against the company, the magistrate estimated that €750,000 in fine and the rehabilitation of the sites constituted a fair penalty for the storage of 470 000 m3 of waste "in a hidden and hidden manner".

A fine of €750,000 and the rehabilitation of sites affected by wild landfills were requested by the Public Prosecutor's Office on Thursday against Nestlé.
On the third day of the trial on illegal plastic landfills, the representatives of the multinational have become entangled in their contradictions. Called as a witness, the agent of the French Biodiversity Office highlighted the health risks caused by industrial practices.
