EU executive presents amendment to CO2 cars emission standards « Carbon Pulse

Experts are sceptical about the EU Commission's plan to make CO2 levels more flexible, which is to the detriment of those who have kept to the rules so far.

Instead of strict CO2 limits from 2025 onwards, car manufacturers are allowed to emit their emissions over three years. Industry cheers – environmental organisations warn against negative consequences.
