Volkswagen ID. Cross: First Details of T-Cross-Sized Electric SUV Revealed

- On Monday, Volkswagen announced it will introduce the entry-level electric SUV ID. Cross, previewed at the Munich Motor Show, to sit below the ID.4.
- Built on the MEB+ platform, Volkswagen will produce the Cross and other entry-level EVs at the Martorell, Spain factory as part of a new-generation rollout this year.
- With two battery options, the Cross offers WLTP range up to 436 km and measures 4,161 mm in length, 1,839 mm in width, and 1,588 mm in height.
- Cross will start at around €28,000, making it one of the more attainable EVs from a major European brand and could become a volume seller given Europe's demand for crossovers.
