An estimated 10 million people across the country are at risk of losing the telemedicine services offered by their employer if the federal government goes ahead and stops the privatization of virtual health care. Quebec denounces a new “unacceptable” encroachment in its fields of jurisdiction. Ottawa was expected to clarify its intentions in June, but the provinces and the insurance industry are still waiting.
