The Ivorian justice system sentenced Damana Adia, also known as Pickass, and Koua Justin, two officials from the PPA-CI, to ten years in prison without bail for public disorder and incitement to insurrection related to the pre-election violence of 2020.

Ivorian justice sentenced Justin Koua and Damana Adia Pikass, Deputy Secretary-General and Second Vice-President of the Political and Strategic Council of the Parti des peuples Afriques-Côte d'Ivoire (PPA-CI), the political formation of Laurent Gbagbo, on Wednesday, 12 February. Both of them expressed their intention to appeal their conviction and came out free of charge from the Abidjan Court of First Instance.
