After Monday's severe storm, specialists worked all night, so power supply was restored in most places, but currently 50-60 thousand households are still without power, said Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in a video posted on Facebook on Tuesday morning.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán reported on the damage caused by yesterday's storm and the restoration work in a Facebook video. The severe weather conditions caused disruptions in three main areas: transportation, water supply and electricity supply.
Viktor Orbán met with the Hungarian Electricity Transmission System Operator (MAVIR) on Tuesday morning. According to the Prime Minister, there were 366,000 households without power on Monday, but this number had been reduced to 50,000 by Tuesday morning.
