In northern Vietnam, the death toll from floods and landslides following Typhoon Yagi has risen to 197, the government said Thursday.
It is the worst storm that Vietnam has experienced in 30 years: after having swept through Laos, Thailand, Burma and China, Typhoon Yagi caused significant damage in Vietnamese cities and towns.
