MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WISCONSIN, JUL 17 – Two suspects, including a 14-year-old and a 38-year-old, were arrested after a statewide Amber Alert was issued and the boy was found safe nearly 24 hours later, police said.
- On July 11, Milwaukee Police Department says a masked man forced Jamal White, 7-year-old boy, into a vehicle at gunpoint near his home in the 6200 block of West Hustis Street.
- A 14-year-old suspect allegedly planned a robbery targeting White’s mother, described as a 'well-known drug dealer,' according to court records obtained by TMJ4.
- Video footage shows Jamal Sr. abandoning his son and running inside his home, while Jamal Sr. on Facebook said `Hell I ran`.
- The investigation concluded as officers recovered Jamal White alive in a home near North 39th and West Lloyd streets, Milwaukee Police Department said.
- On July 15, Shavon Williams was arrested, and Jamal White remains in the care of Child Protective Services.
