VFW holds quilt raffle and ice cream social
The annual VFW Quilt Raffle and Ice Cream Social, held over Labor Day weekend, once again brought neighbors and friends together for a good cause. This year’s quilt raffle had a lucky winner with a fun story behind it. Ralph Gray spotted the raffle booth outside Williams Grocery, bought $40 worth of tickets, and sure enough—his name was drawn. He proudly took home the handmade quilt.
