Veyis Korkmaz, who served as the Imam of the Güvendik Neighborhood Mosque in Sultanhisar district of Aydın, passed away at Aydın Adnan Menderes University Hospital despite all efforts to save him after suffering a heart attack. Korkmaz's death has caused sadness among his family, relatives, congregation, and the Diyanet (Religious Affairs) community. It has been learned that his funeral will be held in his hometown of Kırıkkale.
